Hi,

No answer, but more details on this mission from a X. Fliegerkorps report: seven Bf 109s of 5./J.G. 53 scrambled from Kastelli against aircraft in the Heraklion direction. Hits were claimed on British aircraft (not sure if singular or plural). One aircraft force-landed at Koufonisia.
