Hi,
When checking the files of Army Co-operation Command I found
AIR 39/35 Combat reports (1941 Nov. - 1943 May.). I checked the available combat reports from the squadrons of Army Co-op Command in AIR 50:
- 1941 – 0 CR
- 1942 (excluding 309 Sqn as these seems to from 303 Sqn) – 9 CRs
- 1943 (to the end of May) - 16 CRs
It seems at least the report/-s from 1941 in AIR 39/35 are unique and any report from this period is most probably from the operations with Tomahawk.
Is there anyone with experience of this file or has the possibility to check at Kew if there are many combat reports in AIR 39/35 that are not available in AIR50? I may order copies from the file if it contains enough unique reports.
