Hi,
An ugly looking thing with pointed nose and razor back, oh its mouth was open below its pointed nose.
42-23297 was one of two.
Later on there was the XP-47J 43-46952, with an almost back to normal look.
Finally the XP-72, a bubble top P47, a more refined version of the XP-47H, this version had its nose intake further back in line with the leadsing edge of the wings.
