Wieringermeer/Amstel could have been Amstelmeer. A bay near the van Ewijcksluis on north-west side of the Wieringermeer.
This could have been a seaplane location for the Kriegsmarine station Den Helder.
It is the first time I have seen this mentioned.
De Kooy airfield is 3-4 km. north of this location.
There were two auxiliary airfields in the Wieringermeer for the Dutch Air Force.
Only one of the two auxiliary airfields in the Wieringermeer has been used in May 1940 by the Dutch Air Force.
