Re: 109s attacking shipping 8 May 1942
10./JG 2 attacked a convoy off Worthing at 1025 hrs with 4 Bf 109s after which another 12 attacked Worthing 1224-1305 hrs. Only loss was Uffz Bruno Görendt who was shot down in the second attack by Adj A G Y Debec of 340 Sqn. All in my book Luftwaffe Fighter-Bombers over Britain
