A3474 was an interesting RE8; shot down by ground fire captured intact.
Markings are distinctive though; a relatively new aeroplane as the factory markings are clear including the "ballast" lettering under the cockpits, the "LIFT HERE" (both black) and propeller logo.

( SD = Siddeley-Deasy factory and number; 9707 the part number, CC the doping scheme--Cellon C ). The "18" was roughly chalked on and was different left-right side.
Deasy was a car company in Coventry.
