stahlbeton is on a distinguished road
12-13 March 1943. Hptm. Meurer

I am looking into the claims of Manfred Meurer of this night researching a crash and a few things are noticable on his four claims for that night.

12.03.43 Oblt. Manfred Meurer 3./NJG 1 Halifax 6257: 5.000 m. [N. Horst N.W. Venlo] 21.16 Film C. 2031/II Anerk: Nr.135
12.03.43 Oblt. Manfred Meurer 3./NJG 1 Lancaster 3-5 km. E. Bergen-Alkmaar: 5.300 m. 21.25 Film C. 2031/II Anerk: Nr.136
12.03.43 Oblt. Manfred Meurer 3./NJG 1 Halifax Grafwegen-Reichswald: at 4.000 m. 21.48 Film C. 2031/II Anerk: Nr.13712.03.43 Oblt. Manfred Meurer 3./NJG 1 Wellington Eschleer: at 4.400 m. 22.25 Film C. 2031/II Anerk: Nr.138

The time between the first two claims are just 9 minutes apart while the distance between these locations is more than 160 kms.

The third claim is then 23 minutes later over Grafwegen, near Nijmegen. His last claim for the evening I am researching. I cannot find Eschleer on any map, but it could be mistaken for the place Echteld. A Wellington III came down here on about the exact time from this list.

Can anyone shed a light on this?
