I’m fairly sure it’s a second 6.(F)/122 machine (and by the way, I think it may also have a FuG 101 radio-altimeter antenna under the port wing, outboard). In Italy, 4. and 6.(F)/122 undertook night photography and FuG 200 reconnaissance over the sea. I can’t remember at the moment which did which—I’d have to look up that up in my own book—but the plan was to amalgamate the two Staffeln because there were not enough Ju 188s remaining after production ceased to keep them operating separately for long.
