After a long period of time I will be visiting the town of Wechte where Lancaster ND988 crashed on the night of September 23rd 1944.
It has ben a long and difficult task searching the internet using various forums and other websites to help gain information on this event.
I would like to thank everyone so far and will update this thread with more information as I go.
