With one being a driver, could they all have been killed in the same road accident?
Hello,

No! 1528343 F/Sgt James NICOL RAFVR (later W/O), was killed aboard No.98 Sqn Mitchell II FW262. FW262/G was hit by flak and F/Sgt Nichol was wounded in the back. He died before reaching base.

See: 2TAF2/364-7 and No.98 Sqn ORB (F.541), December, 1944, Image 18 of 21.

Col.
