Luftwaffe Codes (indentification) issued at the factory, versus Unit code.
Unit codes changed and same plane could have many. Factory (safety code)
was used when no Unit code was in use, but was also meant be the planes Permanent code, so to speak. I recommend do ones homework (study this) but not rely on asking just here. To fully understand answers here one need have basic knowledge
