This plane can’t be Frank Fazekas’. I just recently attended his funeral at Arlington National Cemetery after his remains were identified at a crash site on a farm in northern France. His plane was positively identified from multiple serial numbers found on the wreckage that was excavated from a deep impact crater by a team of archeologists from the University of Wisconsin. Apparently he went in nearly vertically, creating a very deep crater that was covered over by the farmer whose beet field Fazekas crashed in.
