Actually the wing has been done for a number of years. There is always some activity at NASM that pulls staff from one project to another and right now lots of work is being done in the building on the mall in Washington. It is a revitalization project since the building was done before 1976.
That said, another thing delaying it was the discovery of the He219 in Denmark that provided some insight into the radar dipoles that were missing from the NASM He219. A set has been manufactured and fitted and will go on the one at NASM.
Work is continuing of final painting of the control surfaces and some of the engine panels. The props were finished a long time ago and need to be brought out of storage.
In the two images added here are the front angle view showing the nose wheel on and the radar dipoles still in the shop.
