When I spoke with DPAA guys last year, they mentioned that they plan to do DNA analysis on large number of unidentified airmen. I hoped that would solve couple of cases I analyzed, but there is still no news.
All we can do through documents and testimonies in most cases is not conclusive, so DNA analysis is unavoidable.
