Proposed Guidance for Part Identification Photographs
The posting of photos of parts and pieces recovered from wrecked aircraft (for identification purposes) is an interesting and important part of this forum.
To aid in the identification of these parts, I propose the following guidance:
1) Include scale, in the form of a metric ruler, in every photograph.
The inclusion of scale in evidence photographs is an important habit that we should all develop.
Example: Are these parts 2 cm wide or 20?
Anyone have other ideas that will assist in the process of identifying parts recovered from wrecks?
