If however the date was the 26th Dec,1944 then from the available Luftwaffe claims lists on line there were six P51's by Luftwaffe pilots.
Uffz Helmut Bollwerk - 5/JG 2.
Uffz Jurgen Kirchhoff - 5/JG 2 -(2).
Hptm Georg Schroeder - Stab II/JG 2.
Uffz Rudolf Trager - 6/JG 2.
Few Hans Braun - StabIII/JG4 - Havelange, Ardennes.
So perhaps Braun's victim?
