Help identifying Japanese Aircorps Insignia

Greetings out there from Denmark.

Should a kind soul or more perhaps be able to help me out with the Aircorps Div. the shown vet in the photos belonged to, please?
Purchased from the grandson of the shown airman. I have the grandsonīs name, Ishido Yoshiaki.
The Vet survived WW II and had 2 Daughters. The grandson, who sold the items is the son of the vetīs first daughter who inherited her fatherīs items. The vet(and shown clock!) survived the crash/war with a wounded left arm and was shot down by a P-40.

At that time he was flying a Nakajima Ki-27. He crash landed his plane and was sent home July 1942. During the war, He was stationed at Shanghai as a Bomber escort. According to the grandson, He was lucky to be sent home before the Kamikaze missions occurred. The vet passed away 1991. The family came from Fukaoka, later Tokyo.

From the pictures(best resolution I was provided with!) it seems they were all taken in China(Manchuria?).
Everything bought in private at the Yasukani Shrine in Japan except for the original photoalbum(not in my hands, bought by someone else).

Does ANYBODY recognize the insignia on the plane, and/pr does anyone read any or some of the kanji on the flag/pictures, please? Help would be really appreciated.
With lots of thanks,
- Flemming
