Oberleutant zur See Karl Barth of 3./Ku.Fl.Gr. 506 was the only known He-115 to win the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. He won it on Feb. 16,1940. I can't think of any others He-115 pilots that did win the Knight's Cross.
