Re: BF 109
nobody ? I enjoyed Jan's Ju 52 book. His Bf 109 book is probably the best new concise general history in a while, certainly since David Isby's, although it is a much thinner tome. Subtitled a 'Design and Operational history', obviously in 260 pages it only skirts over many aspects that elsewhere have had entire books devoted to them. Includes chapters on foreign service and six pages on post-war Spanish 'developments'. Not a lot of pictures, but an interesting selection distributed through the text.
