Larry deZeng and Doug Stankey have assembled an extensive short-bio list of Luftwaffe officers. The following is from their work, with a few tidbits added.

Rudolf ‘Rudi’ DASSOW, Born: 23.January 1920 in Wolgast/Pommern.
1942 assigned to II./ZG 26. 10.April 1943 Lt. in 7./ZG 1 WIA/MIA in Me 210 A-1 WNr.8169, 2N+GR by Spitfire, Northwest of Bou Thadi; returned on 16.April 1843. His radio operator, Fw. Walter Böhme was killed in the crash-landing.
8.October 1943 Lt., Stab/ZG 26.
22.February 1944 Lt., 4./ZG 26. (There is some motion picture film, and some stills, of his return from a successful mission at this time, flying Me 410 “weiße 11”)
3.April 1944 Lt., Stab II./ZG 26 awarded the DKG.
11.April 1944 Lt., Stab II./ZG 26.
21.June 1944 WIA - Me 410 WNr.420509 (or, 420590?), 3u+MM.
August 1944 now in II./JG 6, Staffelkapitän 8./JG 6
25.August 1944 KIA – Fw 190 A-8/R8 WNr.171711 “blaue 11 + -” shot down in flames vicinity of la Fère near Laon/France during combat with P-38 Lightnings of 367 FG and not seen again.
5.September 1944 Lt., posthumously awarded the Ritterkreuz. Credited with 22 air victories.
