BTW, it is Air Enthusiast no 16? This is old source with some errors. "Air War over ..." I have for many years (about 20), fundamental but also some errors you may find too.

There is an error in my opinion - 5./JG 54 had claimed 5 not 6 Blenhiems I over Hungary, next 2 were claimed by Hungarian A/A.

This time air operations of Do 17Ks of 3 Air Bomber Regiment are "excluded" from this post. Very interesting indeed, and the crews had fought to the end and even later (2 Do 17 K had landed in Egypt). Thay had attacked a few times Bulkgarian soil (Sofia and next places).

Interesting are operations over Hungary and their impact on the "ground" and Hungarian, most probably not so deadly for civils as over Bulgaria by Do 17 Ks?
