Hello,
this one, with Wnr. 2501 served as a Fw 56 KD 1 in Austria with JS 1, then after Anchlüss in 1938 with Flugbereitschaft des Komm.Generals, Österreich.
Your photo was taken when it belong to Sch/FAR 13, it stayed with this unit until at least 03/12/40.
On 02/10/41, it was with Luftzeugamt Liegnitz, for a transfert flight from Minden to Liegnitz.
Then we found it with FFS(A/B) 113 from at least 24/10/41 to at least 27/05/42.
It was lost 100% on 30/10/43 near Bamberg, with 1/JG 104, in an air collision with the Fw 56 Wnr. 2440, Uffz Karl GERSTENGABEL was wouded.
