To my story about Hurricanes in Rumania (Esc. 53 in combat over Eastern Front in 1941) I am looking for additional photos of Hurricanes of Esc. 53.
So far I have gathered photos of ARR Hurricanes, which were published in my book Hurricanes in Foreign Services (part cocnerning Rumanian chapter is quite substantial - 6 pages + 10 photos of ARR Hurricanes + 5 colour drawing of them). Book was edited in Poland in 2001 in Polish with strong English summary.
After a few years I have found some correction to the text, new data and soon or later I will going to edit it again in Polish aviation/history magazines.
This is the reason that I am looking for a "new" photos.
Maybe some of you have such photos of ARR Hurricanes from the period 1940-44.
Could aslo be a photos of pilots from this squadron other then Horia Argarci, :-)
Having also own collection of ARR or other nation planes from WW II period I can offer other photos for Rumanian Hurricanes one - including from Polskie Lotnictwo Wojskowe before 1939 or from Soviet Air force 1940-1941 or later
