He claimed a Betty on Nov 20, 1943 according to Lexington's deck log. A Zeke on Dec 4, 1943, ACA #8; his gunner claimed a Zeke probable in the same report. He claimed a Sonia on April 21, 1944, ACA #24. All with VB-16. His gunner was ARM2c William Joseph Hisler on all these missions. I have not found any documentation for any further claims.
