Good afternoon Gentlemen,
in my opinion the MiG-3 is one of the most beautiful monoplanes ever !
"
MiG-3 Aces of World War 2" by Khazanov and Medved features a MiG-3 ace list but it seems quite inaccurate when compared to that website:
http://soviet-aces-1936-53.ru/abc/m.htm
I adjusted the MiG-3 ranking accordingly and identified all those aces who scored 10 or more kills in the MiG-3 (shared kills counted as decimals):
1.
Sergei Makarov (Макаров Сергей Васильевич) = 13,99 [11+12]
2.
Valentin Figichev (Фигичев Валентин Алексеевич) = 11 [11+0]
3.
Konstantin Gruzdev (Груздев Константин Афанасьевич) = 10,83 [9+4]
4.
Ivan Golubin (Голубин Иван Филиппович) = 10,67 [10+2]
5.
Yevgraf Ryzhov (Рыжов Евграф Михайлович) = 10,33 [9+3]
6.
Pavel Tarasov (Тарасов Павел Тимофеевич) = 10,2 [10+1]
7.
Ivan Zabolotnyi (Заболотный Иван Николаевич) = 10 [10+0]
8.
Arsenii Dmitriyev (Дмитриев Арсений Алексеевич) = 10 [9+2]
9.
Ivan Chulkov (Чулков Иван Денисович) = 10 [9+2]
10. possibly
Kuzma Seliverstov (Селиверстов Кузьма Егорович) = 9-10 [9+2]
Can anybody tell me how many pilots took part in the two shared kills of Kuzma Seliverstov on 7Jul1941 ?
Cheers,
Michael
