The American National Archives mention in RG 242 (Collection of Foreign Records Seized) under identifier 7329975 Lists of Downed Allied Aircrews 1954 1958 Records of Luftgaukommandos, List of Downed Allied Aircrew. Arranged by downed Allied aircraft report type and thereunder numerically by report number. The NARA website also mention : This series consists of German-created lists of air crew members. Information includes date and location, and sometimes the time of aircraft downing; type of aircraft; and the name, grade, and serial number of crew members. Report of downed airborne troops are also included. The records are in German. (

Is any additional information regarding these files available ? Does anyone has any experience with the contents of these files ? Is it easy to obtain a copy from Nara ?
