It appears that he was commander of the 12th Air Rescue Group, Rhein-Main Air Base (1954), attended Air War College with rank of colonel (Class of 1956) and in 1960 was/became Air Attaché at the US embassy at Buenos Aires.
By 1971 he was retired.
Just for the record: he was involved in a forced landing near Fraser, CO on 17 Feb 1950 in SA-16A "48-0596" of 5th ARS flying out of Lowry AFB, CO.
Prior to that, a landing accident with OA-10A (= PBY Catalina) 44-33988 at Howard Field, CZ.
