German seaplanes shot down on 28 april 1942?
On 28 april 1942 two Beaufighter pilots of the 272 Squadron claimed to have shot down a Do.18 each during an attack to an Axis convoy in North Africa.
Because on the same day an italian CZ.501 of the Bengasi based 196a Sq. RML was badly damaged by "three Blenheim" I think that it could be the same episode.
Was there any german seaplane lost or damaged on that day in that theatre of war?
