Hello,
a few weeks ago, my diver's friends from Sicily, send me some pictures abaut a wreck.

The wreck is near Egadi Islands (Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, Maraone, Formica..), there are only the wings the propellers and the RR Merlin engines.
I don't know any more.

I think that is a Vickers Wellington Mk II.
The 104 and 148 squadrons flew with Wellington Mk II in this area.

I discover these wimpy missing in action, bat any more:

W5576 104 mission on Torino 11.09.41
Z8507 104 mission Napoli 27.06.43
Z8515 104 mission on Napoli 15.07.43
Z8589 OADU, down in the sea off Filicudi 21.05.42.

Which of these (or other) is my wreck?


Can you help me to know the history of this aircraft?
