It is always sad to see a "brother" flyer passing away on a flying accident.
I saw the video, in my humble opinion he was a bit low to try aerobatics...no room to recover...seems to have stalled too when levelling. Sad loss in Human aspects and material aspects.
I do ask myself, specially regarding those flyers that fly those WW2 birds...why they do not only fly straight and level at low level and let the aerobatics for a BOX some 5,000 feet AGL (at least)?
In some of those WW2 birds Flight Manuals it is often recorded that "Aerobatics" should NOT be performed below 5 or 10,000 feet! This was the recommendation for the WW2 pilots.
Anyway...always sad to see a brother flyer passing away...
