Target Emmerich - 1st of April 1943
Good morning,
A lone Lancaster of 103 Sqdn RAF bombed the city of Emmerich on this date and was shot down on return to England.
What was the damage on the ground and how many casualties fell in this German town?
At least two Wehrmacht soldiers were killed, as I found their death cards on Fold3 (WASt).
