A Feindflug is a mission over enemy territory or into enemy airspace; Frontflüge were the number of 'flights' credited to an airman towards the award of a Frontflugspange (in gold, silver, bronze). As mentioned above, when a mission extended over 4 hours in enemy air space, the airman was awarded double points towards the Spange, increasing to 3 and 4 points for over 6 and over 8 hour flights. Single-engine fighters and dive-bombers usually only had the range for short flights so it is transport, bomber and reconnaissance airmen who tended to accumulate multiple scores.
