[James A Pratt III]

David Westheimer who later wrote the book "Von Ryan's Express" was in real life a POW in WW II. He was the navigator of a B-24 named "Natchez to Mobile, Memphis to St Jo" pilot Lt Larry Kennedy. The plane was shot down 11 Dec 42 on a raid on Naples by what he said were Italian MC 202 fighters. Any one which unit or pilot downed him? Thanks in advance.
