For three of the 324th Fighter Group losses on July 9, 1943, the MACR's give Capt. Robert C. Dempsey as 11:00 hours, Capt. David E. Carpenter at 11:00 hours and Lt. Charles L. Chalker (not Chalked) at 0730 hours.
