Uffz. Ludwig Scharf with a nurse in the background a Me 109 E-7.
On 15.9.1942 Ludwig Scharf with his Me 109 F-4 W.Nr.10139 was shot down by the Russian pilot Captain Pavel Stepanovich Kutakhov and got into captivity where he died.
At that time, Scharf was flying in the 6th J.G. 5
Uffz. Scharf scored 18 aerial victories
