For what it is worth, the following is reported in Nigel Parker's, The Luftwaffe Crash Archive Vol.7, p.797:

16 February 1941

Lost on operations to Newhaven. Ff Uffz Alois Bautz, lost without trace. 3/Ln.Rgt. 1.
