And it is quite a small book. Some text is a little tricky, even the 'non-technical' parts, eg '... numerous Ju 52s had broken through simple defensive measures of the defenders ..' That sentence has at least two meanings so probably a good job Volker didn't give us his English version. And it would have cost Jay nothing to get the text quickly proofed and corrected. I used to do an entire Kagero monograph in a single evening...(some of the worst 'English' I've ever attempted to decipher..)
