Re: Over 100 air to air kills (The 100 Club)
Hi Edward
Less than we were led to believe, and it's not clear cut Ulrich Wohnert and Paul-Hinrich Dähne may very well have, but not sure. Those I am sure of ninety-five, with Grasser, Priller, Clausen, Miethig and Galland all on exactly "100". I found Bühligen to have several unconfirmed within his 112 that has always been claimed for him, actually I found nine unconfirmed for him, and ninety-nine confirmed(until 5th July 1944), but he may have claimed a few during 1945, but JG2 hardly claimed any after 1944.
So my personal answer would be ninety-five, plus three maybes, and there is a chance that one or two more may just have in the last months of the war, but unlikely.
Kind Regards
Johannes
