Do 217M airman 'Franzl' KIA in December 1944
According to what is written on the rear side of an original photo, a Luftwaffe airman, probably a pilot, called only Franzl, belly landed his Do 217M at Kouft, or Rouft (?) near Kunzandorf (?) on 18 June 1944 and later on was killed in December.
Can the airman and his unit be identified based only on this info?
