Re: 2 July 1944 losses of the shuttle mission FGs
Indeed, 'Judy' is visible on the nose of the smouldering wreck. The 'Mustang' displays full D-Day invasion stripes on the rear fuselage.
We identified it as victim of Főhadnagy vitéz György Debrődy.
Both photos were published in 'Hungarian Fighter Colours', vol. 2, pages 359 and 360.
