Prien had two victories for 1.Erg/JG 54 this day:

Lt Wolfgang Kretschmer claimed an I-18 in Pl.Qu. 28451/25 Ost at 12h35 for his 2nd victory.
Ogefr Rudolf Schöchlin claimed a DB-3 in Pl.Qu. 28874/25 Ost at 12h50 for his 1st victory.

I know that types claimed by German pilots were often wrong in summer 1941, but don't remember if I-18 was used for I-153.

Can you give us details of the shot down I-153 ?
