I need to check, but many years ago I recovered a Staplehurst based P-51 and donated a very nice prop blade to Brenzett Museum - c.1972. It may have been the same FG? If so, the blade would make a nice memorial piece.
I need to dig out my files. The pilot of this aircraft (from memory!) was Lt Carlton E Palmer who survived the incident but was killed later in the war.
