Ost. 01.43 trf to 7./JG 77. 31.01.43 Lt., 8./JG 77 unhurt - Bf 109 G-2 trop shot down in the Limaguess area. Early 1943 app Adj. I./SG 2. 1943 appt Techn.Offz. of I./SKG 10. 01.11.43 in Schl.G. 2, promo to Oblt. 1944 was Ia of Stab IV. Fl.Korps. c. 10.44 appt Staka 4./SG 10. 08.04.45 WIA - shot down by La-5s vic Wien, did not fly again. Post war, he was in the Bundesluftwaffe, rising to the rank of General.
