Gentlemen, thank you very much for your support!
I did contact the local Rochester newspaper "The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle" and wrote them two versions for possible publication. Unfortunatly they could not guarantee for publication.

I want to put some special thanks to the member "RSwank"! He did send me some contact data of some possible relatives of 2Lt. Timothy Haggerty. I send them some messages and waiting for response.

The book "Who Fears" is not known by me. Maybe researcher111 could send a copy of page 97 (if it contains any interesting data)?

We are interested to get in contact with ANY of the former crewmembers of both ships. If you want to help us - feel free, we appreciate any support.

MACR 7000 contains a detailed report of Sgt. Marlin. If he or any other of the survivors are still with us it would be most interesting to talk to them!
