Re: Belgian Pilots Mystery?
Hi Chester,
Pre-war Sgt Oscar Borisewicz was member of the Aéronautique Militaire (Belgian Air Force). He was wounded and disfigured in an accident. During an exercise and while flying Firefly Y-46 he collided with Cpne Omer Vanderlinden (Firefly Y-24) above Tourinnes-St-Lambert on February 15th 1933 at about 11 A.M. Vanderlinden was killed and Borisewicz was seriously wounded and bailed out.
