The above facts are reducing the possibilities to IV. Gruppe and the time slot from July to early September. The monthly reports for the Gruppe are listing G-2 losses as follows: two by accidents in July and two by accidents in September. The first accident during September is dated 5.09.44, it happened most probably during the transfer to Finland and not at the Southcoast.

This leaves as possibilities only the two accidents from 6.07.44 and 20.07.44, for which no detailed data are available. The planes lost on 30.07.44 (mentioned in post #5) were all G-6 versions and the accident on 18.07.44 was from 12.Staffel and it’s pilot is reported missing.
