I do not think that Wasik was attacked by more than one german nightfighter. He was shot down shortly after he crossed the west coast of Jutland on the way to the target.
The german night fighters had only a few planes in the area (they were at that time flying to a point further east of the place where the combat took place).
There is no information about damage to Oberfeldwebel Schmitz's Ju 88.
No units operating Bf 110 were at that time of the night ready to attack the bomber force over Jutland.
