Re: Travemünde, prewar (1930s)

Thanks Gents. Bingo on Vought O2U Corsair of Battle Division 2, Scouting Fleet. Did not find correct type before retiring last night. The Junkers A 50 Junior (no dash there, that is typo write it there ... hint .. hint .. at it again ...) but W.Nr. 3530 D-1915 was registered to makers in July 1930, so time frame does fit. Exported December 1930. (according Karl Ries D-numbers register book). One USN book has photo of "2/10" belonging USS FLORIDA at one point. So nummerically, 12 a/c, four per ship (thay had hangar space below decks) possibly places "2/1" (and "2/6") on the two other ships. Note Orthocromic Yellow turned verydark on upper surfaces of wings.

PS. I think this post is in wrong "post" should be "pre" :-)
