Went through the same process as yourself - Inconclusive!

I also checked the following sources:

McDonnell Douglas Aircraft since 1920
Francillon,Rene J.
London:Putnam,1979
pp.289-91.

Francillon states on p.291:

A-20C-BO: One hundred and forty A-20Cs built under Lend-Lease Contract DA-1 by Boeing (serials 41-19589 to 41-19728, c/n 2885 to 3024). If the c/n's are sequential (a big "if"), 2890 equates to 41-19594.

Checked against: Boeing Aircraft since 1916/Peter M Bowers/Putnam,1989/p.277-78 - OK!
