Re: JG 77 victories

Most of you have read www.allaces.ru by now especially the episodes from Гвардейцы Балики Крылатой. There are many episodes that I found that are duplicates that have just been written different. Also some with the wrong date and times but so far not to far off. I've been told that the book is controversial even in Russia. After looking hard at the information, locations and times this is what I have come up with for the 30 Sep 1942. I know that some will not agree with me but it is a possible answer. The time listed on the website is 11:25-11:50 (M) which I believe to be wrong. More then likely the actual time is 12:25-12:50 (M). As far as the German claims of a MiG-3 and two Yak-1 with German misidentification were looking at I-16 (Yes, far but possible).

Stab III./JG 77 Kurt Ubben Yak-1 (91) 11:30 PlQu. 00261 at 2000 m.
I-16 4 GIAP KBF Kapt. V.I. Petrov attacked according to the site or book at 11:30 (M). But he didn't go down where Ubben listed as he bailed out near Manushkino in PlQu. 0025. So he evaded Ubben and stretched to that location.

Next is 4 GIAP KBF pilot Kulikov who was WIA and forced landed at Manushkino. The two remaining claims are Stab III/JG 77 Ofw. H. Hackler Yak-1 (38) 11:46 at 00263 at 800 m. Possibly pursuit took him further then he thought. Finally Lt. H-J. Heyer 8./JG 54 MiG-3 (42) 11:49 at 00254/ at Manushkino at 600 m. Compare the times and heights.
